Profit & Loss Calculator
Calculate the realized profit or loss on any trade — stocks, options, or futures. Set the contract multiplier (100 for equity options, $/point for futures), add fees, and get net P&L and return on the position.
FAQ
How do I calculate trade profit?
Profit = (exit − entry) × quantity × direction × multiplier − fees. For a short, the direction flips so a lower exit is a gain.
How do options change the math?
A standard US equity option controls 100 shares, so set the multiplier to 100 and enter the per-share option price.
How about futures?
Use the contract's $/point value as the multiplier (e.g. 50 for ES, 20 for NQ, 5 for MES).
